Natalie Barragan Dojaque, Clinical Intern

Hi and welcome! My name is Natalie and I am glad you are here!

As a Clinical Intern, I provide a supportive and understanding environment where my clients can feel safe and heard. I believe that the decision to start therapy takes a lot of courage. The fact that you are here is already a great start.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the lasting impact of trauma, especially those who feel stuck in old patterns and want a compassionate, thoughtful approach to change. In our work together, I understand that the process of healing involves taking care of the entire person. Because of this I like to use a model of therapy that allows and recognizes the integration of the mind, body, and spirit.

As a therapist of mixed cultural heritage, I believe in working together to discover strengths, gain awareness, and develop skills to promote your growth and resilience. My job is to support you on this journey, working together to make sense of your experiences, set goals, and support you.

I support client by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques to help clients feel empowered and gain awareness on patterns that are found in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to identify effective strategies that strive for a positive change.

Finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with is an important part of the healing jounney. For this reason we offer pressure-free, complimentary phone consultation to allow you to get to know me and see if we would be a good fit. Please reach out to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. Taking the first step can feel hard, but connection and change begin with a simple conversation. I’d be honored to support you in that process.
