Erin Mace, LAC

Hi! My name is Erin Mace, LAC and I am an EMDR therapist.

Every person is unique and has their own story. My clients often come to me when they feel stuck and want to see change but are not quite sure how. I am passionate about empowering individuals to heal from the various ways trauma may be showing up for them.

Trauma responses may show up in ways we are not yet consciously aware of but can include high self-criticism, feelings of anxiety, feelings of depression, relationship challenges, physical health concerns, and so much more. These responses can also intensify when we go through challenges and transitions in life. Trauma is not "what happened to you", it is "how what happened lives in you today". With the use of evidence-based interventions, such as EMDR, there is hope for healing and learning new behaviors that contribute to a healthier and more fulfilling life.

I view the therapeutic relationship as collaborative – together we explore how past experiences may be contributing to the behaviors and patterns that are showing up in your life today. I care deeply about providing a safe space filled with compassion and empathy as we process emotions and reprocess trauma. I believe in embracing the beauty of our humanity. I will never pretend to be a perfect person and I am committed to continually learning and growing.

I utilize Relational Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Internal Family Systems, Structural Dissociation, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment theory, and other evidenced-based interventions to guide individuals toward healing.

Reaching out for help can often be scary but that is what makes it such a brave step. I am honored to be a part of your journey toward healing. Please email me today so we can schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation.
